River Island | Puglia, June 2026

For their summertime brand trip, River Island asked for two things: culture and colour.

Puglia, Italy’s Southernmost region, immediately came to mind. A perfect blend of old world charm and contemporary design, I knew the Valle D’Itria would provide the perfect backdrop to showcase River Island’s bold summer collection.

A Closer Look…

Personalised touches included locally produced ceramics and calligraphed fans used as placecards. A preference sheet distributed in advance of the trip ensured that guests were welcomed into their rooms with their favourite, familiar snacks.

Consistent and considered branded moments throughout the trip ensured that content remained on-brand, without feeling unnaturally so.

From ice-cream waffles to aprons and the tablescapes in between - small branded touches ran throughout the trip, injecting an unmistakable brand identity without interfering with the authentic Italian cultural experience.

The itinerary included cultural moments such as ceramic panting, wine tasting and pasta-making, as well as an afternoon sailing the coast from Polignano a Mare to Monopoli. Lunch at the famous Grotta Palazzese cave restanrant proved to be a trip highlight!
